History

1993 The privately owned company – the Joint Stock Company ‘Transtira’ is founded. The main field of activity - international load shipments. Specialization – shipments to/from Italy with the use of the own fleet of transport.

 

2000 The expanding company establishes international forwarding unit, which guarantees qualitative international distribution shipments, with the use of services of international partners in Italy.

 

2001 Routes of international shipments are being developed. The regular line of shipments Lithuania-Spain is opened.

 

2002 International routes in the direction of the Western countries are being developed. The regular lines of shipments are opened between the Baltic countries and Germany, Belgium, Holland, France, Slovenia, Great Britain, Austria, Switzerland. The company’s fleet of vehicles already consists of 50 trucks.

 

2003 The regular network of shipments in the Baltic countries is established, which strengthens the company’s position in this region.

 

2004 The Joint Stock Company ‘Transtira’ makes investments into setting up a head office in Grigiškės. The company settles in an office of 700 m² with the adjacent warehousing and truck repair workshop complex of 4000m² in a territory of 25000m². The head office of the company is set up in Grigiškės and the terminal of logistic services is opened.

 

2004 The SIA ‘Transtira’ enterprise in Latvia is founded. High quality international road transport and forwarding services are provided.

 

2006 The opening of the following shipment lines: Slovakia, Poland, Check Republic, Hungary. The company’s own fleet of vehicles reaches the number of 80 trucks.

 

2007 The opening of the following shipment lines: Russia, Kaliningrad region. The company’s own fleet of vehicles reaches the number of 110 trucks.
